Admission Information - B.A. / B.Com. (Honours & General)

Online Admission system for 1st year classes in B.Com.(Hons), B.Com. (Gen), B.A. (Hons) in Bengali, B.A. (Hons) in English & B.A. General will be open from 04th June, 2013.
The College admits students irrespective of cast, religion or sex. Applicants for admission is the prescribed form are available in the College Office after publication of the results of Higher Secondary and other equivalent Examination. Application must be duly filled in and submitted to submitted to the College Office along with following documents as per CU norms :
Original (to be shown)and attested copies of (Documents to be submitted along with Form) :
- Original Marks Sheet.
- Admit Card of the Last Examination.
- Pass Certificate from the Head of the Institute last attended.
- Caste Certificate (in case of SC and OBC students only).
- Migration Certificate in case of students coming from other thanW.B. Council of H.S examination along with Authentic Certificate(in case of Bihar/U.P/M.P/Jharkhand Board).
- Total of the 4 highest marks, obtained among subjects with full marks of 100.
- Compulsory environment not to be included.
- Environment marks to be included when it is a elective subject of 100 marks.
- Separate merit list, will be prepared, for general ,SC, ST, PH, candidate in all subject.
- Candidate can apply for as, many subject as they wish by separate, applications.
A example of how to, calculate best of 4 marks :
If a candidate gets the followings marks in his/her last exam :
English : 65
Bengali : 60
History : 57
Education : 49
Political Science : 39
Philosophy : 68
Envs. : 37
Then Best of 4 will be = 65+60+57+68 = 250.
